Many congratulations to this year's Winter League winners 'Team FOD' (Friend's of Danny)

Inspired by Danny Montgomery to to be on the winning team again, 'Team FOD'  came through a rough winter to claim the top prize.

Rumour has it,  the two key elements in their success were that first of all, Alfie McKelvey eventually learned how to play match play and secondly the Club Captain Alan McClune  was in ruthless form during the match play stages  brushing aside his opponents.

Please note that this is the first time that a Club Captain has been on a winning team in his year of office.

Many thanks to all the teams who participated in the Winter League and now we can look forward to playing in warmer temperatures over the next few months...hopefully.
