The Winter League Dinner was held on 9th April and what a great night was had by all who attended.

Approx. 170 people attended the jacket and tie Dinner which is one of the highlights of the year and thanks to Chef Nigel, Shirley, Philip and their teams for making this event run so smoothly.

Guest Speaker William Caulfield entertained the gathering as did Brian Hutchinson from the GUI.

The Captain Stephen Clarke also showed he himself is not adverse to cracking a few jokes and could possibly carve out a new career for himself now that he has time on his hands. (We could maybe book him as guest speaker for next year's Dinner...if the price is right). 

Congratulations to 'The Six Fish Suppers' on winning the Winter League.
