The format of this competition is two teams of 2 play both home and away on the same day at the same tee off time. The home team for Rockmount was Barbara Fleet & Frances Lawther and Diane Patterson & Pauline Mc Williams. The away team was Andrea patterson & Jan Lindsay and Noreen Mikhael and Sue McDonagh.
The weather was dry but a bit breezy. The home team had good matches but unfortunately on the day Kilkeel managed to beat both pairings and won both matches comfortably.
At Kilkeel, Andrea Patterson and Jan Lindsay had a comfortable win giving Rockmount their only win. Noreen and Sue took their match to the 18th but despite their grit and determination Kilkeel won the match.
