Welcome from the Captain

As Captain of Rockmount Golf Club it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Gents Section of the Club Website.

I trust you will find it both interesting and informative as it continues to be regularly updated with news, fixtures and results from our various Club, and inter-club competitions and social events throughout the season.

It is particularly pleasing for me to be honoured with the captaincy of Rockmount Golf Club for 2010, and I’m really looking forward to my year as Captain.

I am delighted that Lady Captain, Leonie Power and the Ladies Section of the Club have joined with me in supporting the Charity appeal for 2010 in aid of the Prostate Cancer Charity.

I very much hope that whether as a member, guest or visitor to Rockmount during the year, you will be able to support the Captain’s Charity Appeal for 2010.

As the Team Captains continue their preparations for the season ahead, may I take this opportunity of wishing them and the players every success in their respective GUI and Cowdy inter-club competitions.

I know that all the teams will continue to do us proud, and hopefully with a bit of luck and good fortune along the way, we certainly can have a memorable season here at Rockmount.

In closing, may I take this opportunity of wishing all our members a happy and successful year in golf, and look forward in meeting up with you in some occasion throughout our various social and club events planned throughout the season.
