John Hinds - Captain

John plays off 17 and has been a member of Rockmount for the last 20 years. He has represented the club as both a player and team captain for both the Ulster Fourball and the Junior Cowdy. John served for two years on committee as social convenor before being appointed vice captain for 2016. Frank Mc Williams - Vice Captain

A member of Rockmount since the day it opened in 1995, Frank is an enthusiastic golfer who plays of a handicap ‘only slightly higher’ than the current Captain.  Frank has represented the club at the Junior Cowdy level and has contributed to both the competitive and social elements of the club.  Not letting the lack of ‘professional golfer’ status deter him in the least, Frank has battered the ball around many of the world’s best courses in Europe and America but always returns to his beloved Rockmount where he is  very much looking forward to supporting the Captain, John Hinds, in the coming year and to further strengthening the committee, social and competitive aspects of Rockmount Club.

Brendan Houston - Gents Social Convenor

Michael Harrison - Junior Convenor

I have been a member of Rockmount for 5 years and am a familiar face around the club especially on Wednesdays as a big supporter of the Wednesday Club. I am a past Captains Day winner in 2015, my proudest achievement in golf.
I have been a member of Moyola Park GC and Ormeau Park GC in the past but, my heart lies very definitely at Rockmount. I have played and captained the Rossmore Team, and played for the Veteran's Team, and I am an avid supporter and follower of all our teams.
In the past I have been very involved in Junior football both coaching and managing teams. I joined the committee in November 2015 as Junior Convenor and have really enjoyed being involved with a terrific bunch of enthusiastic youngsters.

Robert Burns - Hon. Treasurer

Robert joined Rockmount in 2009 and has represented the club in Junior Cowdy. Known to his fourball as 'Lucky Bob', he has scored a hole in one at the 9th at Rockmount and plays off a handicap of 19.  A chartered accountant and school bursar, he joins the Committee this year as Treasurer.

Sue McDonagh - Lady Captain

I joined Rockmount Golf Club in 2016 having previously captained Portadown Golf Club. I was quickly embraced by the members of the club and started playing on the teams such as the Jack Craig, Irish mixed, Intermediate, Cowdy Cup, Meile and Junior Foursomes.  I look forward to my role as Lady Captain this year and know I have the support of Rockmount Enterprises, the committees, and all the staff. My family, the Todds and the Patterson families have been friends for 3 generations, long may it continue.

Rosie McCrea - Public Relations Officer

Rosie joined Rockmount in 2002 and has representef the club in Junior Foresomes, Cowdy, Revive Active , Intermediate and Irish Mixed. She works as a teacher, plays off 15 and is involved with Rockmount Rollers cycling. Rosie's role is to update the website and facebook and supply articles to the local papers about the successes of the ladies as well as looking after any junior girls.

Bernie Traill - Hon. Secretary

I joined the club twelve years ago as a thirty six handicapper and for many years played in the Challenge Cup. I am currently playing for the Minor Team and can say that playing in AIG ladies competitions has kept my interest going. I joined the committee this year and as a newbie, I find it challenging and I am on a steep learning curve.

Helen Setterfield - Past Lady Captain

Joining Rockmount Golf Club in 2003 was a good decision. As I struggled around the course little did I think that in November 2015 I would become the Lady Captain.

2016 was an amazing year.

The highlight has to be returning to Rockmount with the Green Pennant when the Revive Active team won the All Ireland final at Old Conna Golf Club.
